Let me say up front that I haven't read Pat's book, won't read Pat's book, don't give a damn what Pat has to say, and think the man is Jew Hating Isolationist Idiot. Which is unfortunate, cause Pat is dead right, and has a lot of good stuff to say, on a lot of other issues. His isolationism, however, is the pile of dog pooh that ruins the whole Birthday Cake.
Taking his interview on Hannity as a indicator, however, one can reasonable conclude from the Book Title and his remarks that WWII was preventable and the Chamberlain's mistake was in "panicking" and drawing a line in Poland he was unprepared to defend.
Ok, Pat, so NOT doing so would have kept Hitler and Stalin OUT of Poland? How do you figure? You seem to be saying Hitler was RIGHT in taking part of Czechoslovakia. Are you SERIOUSLY saying that was the END of his territorial ambitions? Where do you think the line SHOULD have been drawn? Do you honestly think Hitler WOULDN'T have invaded France? Do you honestly believe he WASN'T interested in WORLD domination by the Master Race? What would have deterred him?
Chamberlain had NO cards at Munich because 1930's Britain AND America was ISOLATIONIST, EXACTLY the course YOU recommend NOW! If Chamberlain had KNOWN he could count on the British people and AMERICA to RESIST Hitler's tyranny he COULD have drawn a meaningful line and CRUSHED Hitler in his Infancy when he crossed it as he was bound to do!

You want to deter War with Amentothejihad? Drop a nuke in his desert and let him know the next two go one on his Nuke Plant the SECOND we think he's close to a bomb, and the other on top of his head. Better, start dropping a Stealth bomb or cruise missle on some piece of Damascus and Teheran infrastructure for each IUD that goes off in Iraq.
